It joined 10 EU and 11 Indian partner organisations. The aim of the project was to improve water recycling and sanitary situation in selected Indian regions. LIMNOS experts designed and constructed a constructed wetland near the Aligarh university compound in India. The facility is used for demonstration and load testing for achieving positive effluent results.<\/p>\n

The selected design of the constructed wetland is a hybrid system (\u00bbfrench\u00bb and \u00bbvertical\u00bb), where the first is loaded with raw waste water to mineralise sewage sludge, the latter is used for water purification. Purified water is collected in a pond.<\/p>\n
